This video was published by "Prothom Alo", a Bangladeshi daily newspaper. In the feature they mentioned it as an new invention; though it is not an new invention. It is just an new initiative/introduction in Bangladesh.
I used here the group of words "Amazing initiative in Bangladesh" Because this idea of growing plants from paper seed is not the new one. This tech was invented by someone else few years before. As a proof you may watch the video here
